My Services

I will support in achieving your healing with my knowledge of medicine, alternative healing and my direct experience and practice of my own and my patients self-healing care.

I offer to you my assistance in four different areas:

  1. As the Health Teacher and Couch; I will be using four healing modalities as listed and described with the four pictures and clickable texts on top of the home page. However, you and me may also focus on one or two modalities and may add the remaining later or not at all.
  2. As a practitioner of Pastoral Medicine where I offer spiritual assistance using religious and spiritual resources that include sacred text e.g. Bible, Course in Miracles, spiritual poetry, prayer and spiritually focused meditations
  3. As Hypnotherapist with the scope described in a text clickable from the tab “Hypnotherapy” on the left of this website sidebar. If you choose to work with using exclusively hypnotherapy you don’t need to file for PWA membership, however you will need to review the Hypnotherapy Informed consent attached to the Office Polices page. I ask you to print, signed, scan and email to me. If you can’t scan it, please send to me via regular mail.
  4. As a patient advocate assisting you with understanding you treatments, monitoring symptoms and helping you in interaction with the healthcare providers. This may include my communicating with your care providers; medical and non-medical.

My Teaching /Coaching assistance is arranged into the four areas, as visualized on the four pictures of the top of my website and clickable descriptions of each area and the summary:

  1. Learn Practical, Easy Habits of Self-Care
accessing my powerful toolbox, your preferences and your goals for healing we will select, try and adjust techniques and habits which will support self-healing of your body and mind. The partial list of the techniques is display on the “My Services” page. These techniques will be “priming the pump” of your inner self-healing and will support you in self-discipline and focus on healing targets
  2. Use Healthcare as Part of Self-Care
we will be complementing your medical care by training you to become a sophisticate contributory partner to you healthcare providers. This will include exploration of the root causes of your disease, basic knowledge of the function of the mind and body. We will find the best ways to help your doctor and you in achieving you healing goals. This may include review your medication, supplements , your diagnoses putting them together generating knowledge which may be instrumental in improving you adherence to treatment, preventing medical and patient’s mistakes. We will figure out a slef-monitoring system which will generate information which you use helping your doctors to help you. We also will train your immediate healing supportive team; you spouse , family , community
  3. Apply Laughter and Play as Medicine
Fear, sadness, panic, despair, hopelessness and helplessness – are ‘frequent visitors during the chronic disease – they interfere with body’s self-healing and suppress it defenses
  4. Explore Spirituality of Self-Healing

The optimal strategy is to apply all these four areas in our healing work. However, if you have a strong preference we may use them in isolation.

The practical sequence and content of visit is described on the page which you can access clicking on the “Learn the details about your visit” button on the picture of the highway on the lower part of this website

I will offer necessary information, techniques, inspiration, support and the means to evaluate progress in our work and develop alternative plans and technique as needed. Since our brain is wired to notice the negative faster than the positive we agree how notice progress and how to conclude that the desired goals were achieved. Healing effects of self-hailing care are slow, since it’s not a time event, rather it is continuous process, it is life-style. The Nature doesn’t rush.

I will help to you to understand your medication, procedures, supplements and other complexity of medicine and non-medical healing. That will allow to give a fair chance for treatments to work, and to avoid the risk of interaction among medications, supplements, nutrition. This is important because both, lack of compliance and medication related risks present big problem in medicine.  You then document and bring this knowledge to your doctors encouraging their continued reassessment and adjustment in treatments. Overworked doctors, limited by the institutional protocol have tendency to prescribe medications for long period of time without proper monitoring and adjustment or discontinuation.

Please note that:

  • while teaching you, I will be referring to the common knowledge in public domain which you can easily access. This is because; my goal is to empower you in educated self-healing care which you will use for yourself and in your interactions with your doctors and other care providers.
  • Since I am no longer practicing medicine I don’t prescribe medication or changes prescriptions. However, I will support you in doing all necessary research and recording your symptoms so you will be well equipped to discuss any potential changes with you doctors. Certainly, if you desire and situation calls for it, I will gladly talk with your doctors, or even accompany you at your doctors’ visit.
  • I don’t make medical diagnoses, you already have been diagnosed (told “what is wrong with you”) by your doctors. I explore with you “what right with you”, what is working well in your body, what is good in your life, what is you circle of caregivers and supporters.
  • Certainly, as the expression of educated self-healing care you may decide on discussing your diagnoses with your doctors and getting second opinions. You will also learn to use your intuition to make your self-diagnosis and compare it with the medical diagnosis creating a desired scenario where these two diagnoses agree.
